AI Knows Too Much about
You.

Remove sensitive chats from ChatGPT with our automated tool.

How does it work?

4 steps:

extension
01

The extension

Install the Chrome extension and open ChatGPT as you normally would. No sign-up, no passwords, no account with us — it simply works with the ChatGPT you’re already logged into.

cloud_off

Fetch everything locally

Every chat and saved memory is pulled in right inside the extension via ChatGPT's own internal APIs and stays there. Nothing is ever sent to us — we have no server that sees your conversations.

02
flag

Flag risky chats

We highlight the chats that touch sensitive ground — health, legal, personal, and other private topics — and sort them by how risky they look, so you can see at a glance what’s worth cleaning up.

03
delete

Delete from your account in one click

Review the flagged chats and memories, pick what to remove, and the extension calls ChatGPT’s own delete endpoint with your session — the same action as doing it yourself in the UI, just batched and targeted.

Why this tool exists?

Companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and other AI providers store your data in a way they have direct access over it. By design, they can technically access and use your data for purposes such as training and tuning models.

Not every line of text becomes tomorrow’s training batch, but the commercial incentive is clear: real usage makes products better for them and in practice, almost all of that value flows back to the platform, not to you. WipeMyAI scans your chats locally without any 3rd Party APIs and shows you risky chats where your personal data like banking details, address, family details, etc. might be stored and gives you the option to delete them.

Your messages live inside provider-controlled systems—where access, retention, and reuse are theirs to define.

How a typical sensitive chat looks like:

Assistant · new chatmore_horiz

I’m overwhelmed—new job at Northridge Labs, and my doctor just switched me to metformin for blood sugar. Can you help me draft a polite email to postpone a client call?

I’m sorry you’re juggling so much. Here’s a concise, professional email you can adapt—keep the tone warm and propose two alternative slots…

[Draft text continues…]

Thanks. Also can you remember my employee ID is NR-88421 for future templates?

Sure!

How the story can escalate

  1. 1
    person_alert

    Sensitive detail in plain text

Employer, medication, and an ID are now in the conversation log—often retained longer than users expect.

  2. 2
    model_training

    Model improvement & training

Providers may use chats to improve models—your text becomes training signal unless you opt out or delete.

  3. 3
    hub

    Third parties & integrations

Plugins, enterprise APIs, or analytics vendors can expose copies outside the chat UI you see.

  4. 4
    shield_lock

    Take control

WipeMyAI surfaces risky threads and helps you delete what you can—starting from your browser.

Why this matters

Most users don’t intend to “share data with the world”—they’re asking for help. But once text is in the thread, it can follow retention paths, training pipelines, and partner systems. We help you see and act—not panic.
